McFarlane
has been making these for a while now and this figure isn't the
first one i've ever purchased. I recently bought this repainted
edition at Electronic Boutique and I have to say that I'm impressed.
Not only did the folks at McFarlane 3D Anime place great detail
on the figure, but they also made Vash look like Vash-I hate when
companies make cheap figures and the figure never looks like the
actual character>_<. This isn't what you would call an action
figure, becaues you can't really play with him or anything like
that-it's more of a collectible item. One of the parts are interchangable,
his left arm, it can come off and be exchanged for another one where
the hand slides down to reveal anthoer gun, it comes with the package.
Parts his body can move around like his legs, head, and arms.Other
accesories include: a hand gun, chain with a cross, scenery stand
with cactus and wanted note, sunglasses and a little cat-_-.
The detail in it is amazing,
they use metallic paint for the metal parts, have bullet holes in
the scenery, on the ground and through the cactus and
wanted sign. The coloring is very well done, now i have the repainted
edition, where almost everything is a darker color and even that
looks awesome, they added the shadow in his hair and colored the
electronics in his mechanical arm! Of course, I kind of expected
it to be this nice cause i also have the Tetsuo(Akira) figure that
I bought last year and that brought the same quality as this did
and speaking of quality, I've had the Akira figure for a year and
it hasn't worn out(yet) and in terms of breaking, I think it would
be best not to "play" around with it cause the pieces
will come off.
I recommend this
figure to anyone who is a fan of the Trigun series or who likes
to collect models and figures. This is not recommended to anyone
who is looking for an action figure to play around with, it's one
of those toys that enjoy standing still on your dresser or something
around that area.^_^
